specs seem pretty good for $1k, a little sad we can't get 32gb ram these days at this price, but 24 is better than 16.

Just had the same question and went to YouTube. Looks like it's comparable to the 3050 mobile card. A little less powerful but good for an igpu.

Google says it competes with NVIDIA RTX 3050 mobile GPU.

I bought one a few weeks ago at this price. We have two other Zenbooks in the family, which have been excellent. Really nice OLED screen that was a big selling point for me, though I have no need for the touch functions. Other big draws were the light weight and slim profile, relatively large battery, aluminum body, and large enough screen for my aging eyes.

I almost didn't get this one because I punch in a lot of numbers once or twice a week for work and there's no number pad, but I gave in and bought a $20 bluetooth add-on, and I'm satisfied with that solution. The XL touchpad is responsive and has a few tricks up its sleeve. Beware if you need a lot of storage there is no second NVME slot, although that's true of most non gaming-oriented laptops these days, and prices for bigger drives have skyrocketed in the last year or so (thanks AI data centers, GRRR).

Everything works, the white keyboard backlight actually works particularly well with the white/silver keyboard, which I was skeptical of. I'm running Pop OS linux mainly and everything is working well, as it does with Windows. Haven't played any games yet. Speakers are decent for a laptop and get loud. It's not a $3000 gaming laptop or Macbook Pro but this is a nice overall package for a grand.

Got this for under 800 open box a few weeks ago and I ended up returning it. Everything is premium but the speakers. They're bad enough that it makes the whole experience feel cheap. Be wary if you are even slightly an audiophile and intending to use this for media consumption.

Specs are great for the price. Notebookcheck has a detailed review for anyone interested.

Does anyone know the actual memory configuration in this? I'm guessing soldered but trying to confirm.
Edit: forgot ddr5 is dual channel in stick.

Have this and the speakers are excellent. Pro reviewers say it's close to Macbooks. While not the same depth of sound as macbook they are very good. My main issue is how bright the backlight is at lowest setting. I think they have it really high so you can see the contrast when in a lit room but it's rough in the dark. I just set mine to time out after not using so during media consumption it is fine.

Pretty mixed reviews on the speakers actually. They are side firing and don't even come close to a Macbook imo. The Zephyrus series has much better ones.

Fair, hence the "slightly" qualifier.

Compress Ram gets 24gb to feel like 36gb for non video workloads.

Have you open up 50 web tabs on 16 to 24gb ram?
