This is a great product. I have 4 of them running in my home.
Contrary to what other people said, they collect a significant amount of dust in the carbon filter. Behind the carbon filter is a HEPA filter. Replacement filters can be bought inexpensively. Highly recommend.

Have 2. Are great. There was a big study around Covid time where they compared a bunch of air purifiers with cost of ownership and CADR and this one was near the top.

I replace the black carbon filter quarterly and the white HEPA filter every six months. I haven't noticed any change in performance vs the OEM filters.

I have one of these in my bedroom next to the bed and it works pretty well. Every time I open it for a cleaning the Stage 1 & 2 (screen and carbon filter) have a ton of dust on them. I use MERV 13 filters in my home AC unit as my primary air filtration method and use this unit to catch whatever the main filter doesn't get. I used to wake up with a sore throat every morning (probably allergy related) but haven't had one since I bought this unit. I've recommended this unit to many people. Buy one (on sale), you won't regret it.
