Got this last time. If you have the batteries it works well. No idea how it would work for intense jobs but I use it for 3d print stuff and it works well.

Amazon has the full-size cordless heat gun for $68, or you can get it at Direct Tools Factory Outlet for $52.50 + $3.14 shipping.

Is it better for the little stringing cleanup than using like a lighter and such?

I have a larger plugged in heat gun I guess I could use but maybe too powerful, and a bit unwieldy, for fine 3d stuff but wondering if this would be much better than just using a BBQ lighter. Or those super cheap $10 heat pens on Amazon.

I admire the constant stream of new products coming from Ryobi, but some of them seem to be interesting but without a real use. Maybe this was designed for drying nail polish when you are camping?
