With USB-C hubs/docking stations, when was the last time any of you inserted an SD card into one?

I'd rather have another USB port or just about anything other than SD card slots.

Since you asked, I use these frequently for camera image offloading (D-SLR) and for updating SD cards for older 3D printers.

Why is this FP? I just bought this same one (likely from same factory) from one of the hundreds of other sellers yesterday for $5. That's just the normal price

My 3d printer runs its OS off one, my wife has multiple cameras as photography is her hobby, I mess around with raspberry pi and most every handheld emulator runs off them too

Had one of these but it would get pretty hot when charging so I replaced it with a nicer HP docking station.

Yep, this. I'll probably swap my existing hub to one of these. It's much easier to just have the card reader built-in to the hub rather than trying to find a USB adapter.
