Community Reviews
This Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 deal stands out for factory unlocked use on any carrier and a solid midrange upgrade, with Android 14, support through May 2027, and a stylus included. Verizon activation can be canceled quickly in some cases, with chat or phone cancellations completing in minutes and charges refunded, including the activation fee. The main cautions are the required Verizon line and possible billing hassle, plus the phone is already out of security updates according to some comments. The price also appears to have moved up, so the original $99.99 offer may be gone.

When you order the phone, you have to sign up for a monthly plan. $75/mo was the cheapest I could find, and they mention a $40 activation fee. I was pretty nervous about this, especially b/c one of the terms you accept when making the purchase says something about returning the phone. However, it went off without a hitch. I spoke to a rep at Verizon who was very nice. the entire call including time in menus was less than 10 minutes. My bill was waived b/c of their satisfaction guarantee or something, so she said I have a 'billing period' but nothing will be due. Awesome!
edit - oh and the phone seems pretty cool! I'm not super picky or a power user, but it seems like a nice upgrade from my Moto G 2022.
