Had mine for almost 7 years now, got it for around the same price. The mode dial starting acting up after about a year. When you turn it, it will rapidly scroll down through the mode list and get stuck at the bottom regardless of which way you turn. I've found that pushing the dial in while turning slowly will typically allow it to work well enough to get it where you need, no issues with the temp or time dials. That has been the only issue I've experienced with it.
I bought mine during the pandemic and have the same issue with the mode dial. If you're into diy repairs, search eBay for "breville smart oven control panel" and you should find what you need.

for everyone that has this, how do y'all clean it? I've had mine for ~4 yrs now and I always try to wipe down the splatters after roasting/broiling, but it still not enough. Areas like where the convection fan is (beyond the grill) and on the inside ceiling directly above the heating elements on top, just accumulate grease and are impossible to clean. do y'all have any tips?
I use barkeepers friend on the glass and it makes it look new. The wire racks go in a large plastic bag and get sprayed with Easy-off and sit overnight before washing. Drip tray gets lined with aluminum foil to minimize cleanup. Everything else is a real pain to clean.

Picked up one of these for $100 on Marketplace to use during a kitchen remodel. It's pretty good!
Frozen pizzas are quick and it can handle a typical-sized one, unlike a smaller toaster oven.
Bakes OK.
Air fryer I haven't been impressed with, seems like it's quite a bit slower than our basket air fryer.
Does a pretty good job toasting, too.
It can hold a quarter-sheet cookie pan or a 9x13.

Yeah, I've had the part bookmarked for a while, but it doesn't bother me enough to spend the time/money to fix it. Once it completely fails then I'll go ahead and swap the panel. Honestly thought it would have failed by now since it was acting up after the first year but it just keeps going lol.

If you have a dedicated air fryer don't expect the same performance out of this. While it can air fry, I'd say it's easily the weakest function of this oven. I'd probably be disappointed if I replaced my dedicated air fryer with this, but everything else is great.

Ditto. I believe there is a fix for this but haven't researched it thoroughly. I have seen references to one. Use mine all of the time. Such a great oven. I have a Calphalon one too at a vacation home and it works well, but it doesn't have the features of this one but it was much cheaper. I found a Wolf version at Home Goods for cheap and have that for when the Breville goes TU.

Breville is not what they used to be. I bought one of these when they dropped to $280 new just before Christmas. On day two while cooking the screen started flashing the letter "C" and the unit was totally nonresponsive. I had to unplug to reset. I decided to return it. A real chore as I had to lug it to a UPS Store. Brand New oven with issues on day two did not bode well for its longevity. Read thru the reviews and there are growing complaints of QC issues.

Can usually get open box units on Amazon for cheaper, but it's nice to have the warranty that comes with a new one.

Have 2/one newish and one 5 years old. Very high quality oven.Big Grin

You need to cover food with something if you have a splatter issues. Also never cook something that will over flow in the oven. Do not touch the elements!

I've had mine almost 10 years
The adjustment dial is finicky sometimes but works perfect

I've owned two of the convection model Breville ovens, nearly identical to these. Although they were mostly great, they both developed problems with the control panel and would actually spark. To their credit, Breville has an excellent out of warranty repair/exchange policy. I seem to recall paying $60, they send you a sturdy padded box with a return shipping label, and either give you a refurbished or brand new oven, which is how I received the second one, which was brand new. Hopefully, they have updated the control panel in this model, but just keep that in mind.
