Can someone tell me why I need this??? Tempted but not sure of all the benefits
If you dont have a dashcam then I highly suggest you get 1. In an accident without video, the other party can lie and you might be at a 50/50 if they can't prove who is wrong. Even if you didn't want to spend alot of money a cheaper system will still be helpful. I have the 3 channel pro version. The video is good even at night. The transfer speeds from the camera to the phone is kind of slow imo. If you set the intervals to 3 minutes, you have to download the whole 3 minute video, which kind of sucks. I had a yi camera before and that let you cut the video before downloading.
I have A129 PLUS 2 channel in my Santa Fe. Wanted to upgrade to 4K but than I have to pay a lot at bestbuy to replace the hardwire cables as mine is mini usb. I ain't DIY. Wonder if the newer ones have easier access to videos? I mean like easy to see the videos from the dashcam on my iphone to show to law enforcement in case of accidents?
You need to hold down a wifi button on the dashcam, then connect your phone to the dashcams wifi. Open the app and press connect. After connecting you will need to go to the gallery and find the video. If you need to look back a bit. the thumbnails are slow to load. Alot of times playback on the dashcam is very laggy. I usually end up downloading it first and then playing it. The download is not that fast
I have one of the older Viofos in my wife's car which has been running solid for a couple of years. No complaints there. But for my car, I recently got the Pelsee Pro for like $50 and I am very impressed by its quality. Will it last as long as Viofo? Time will tell. As of now, Pelsee wins hands down as compared to price and quality.
I just installed the front part of this. If you get the hardwire kit, make sure to get the one including the fuses. My ID10T self bought the cheaper one which didnt include the fuses...
I would get the rear view mirror kit for my application. My mirror is powered, so I can easily tap into that
Literally the same sale price every time the sale comes around. Wtf are you taking about is the lowest price
edit: don't know why I'm being down voted for saying a fact. I literally bought à229 pro 3 channel for $246 last black Friday. cheaper than the current sales price by a couple dollars, hence same price every time they do a "sale"
Agreed. This is a sale price, but a standard sale price. I would not pay any more than this. I'm very tempted
