Thanks for the heads up buddy, I just factory reset my Hisense. I'm using basic TV mode now

Must faster boot time, hope this helps others.

I always use an external smart device....on any Tv I have
The google interface is known to be horrible for tracking you

The u8 series is very highly rated for bright rooms, which we have one for our main TV room. We'll see if it actually delivers on that designation, if not we are okay eating $100 to have it picked up to be returned.
I would share the ratings as such but rtings recently paywalled all their scores. Great.
