Put some weight on there and this thing will blast your forearms. You'll be looking like Popeye in no time.

Just send it to my place then. I'll tell you how it works. Maybe I'll check in every quarter?

I heard this works really well. You can also use a barbell if you have one at home. Found this YouTube a while ago:

Haven't tried it myself.

I guess it's pretty easy to make one of these from a dowel, some rope, and a carabiner but that probably costs as much as this. Any advantage to commercial or homemade?

You'll wear out the bearings faster in the barbell using the barbell method.

this is exactly what teenage me used. a dowel, a nail, some room looped around the nail and a weight

Good deal at this price, just for the materials alone. Thanks OP. I got one on the last deal and it works great. A cheap and easy addition to my at home gym. I did laugh at the size and weight capacity of the pin. NO way I'll ever be getting close to maxing this out at 100 lbs.

Have the PVC pipe version, with larger 2"pvc pipe. Can put it over the end of a barbell, this way, your wrists are doing the twisting lifting part for forearms, but it doesn't stress your front delts since you don't need to hold the weight in the air.

Be sure to use light weight!
Could lead to tennis elbow like it did me if you do too much.

IFYI - thought it used a resistance band - instead, it uses a rope with weight plates (that you provide)
