I've had this model running 24/7 for 6 years now and, unlike half of the several cheaper Winix models I've also used in that period, it's had zero mechanical issues and continues to perform perfectly. Love this purifier, totally been worth the additional money spent over the Winix cleaners.

Did anyone else think this was a deal for an iPod shuffle at first?

Have slowly built up my collection of these, now up to 6 in my house. Might buy a few for my parent's house now as well! These have been great and having the same sets of filters makes the bundle filter purchases even better.

Good to hear. I too have had the Winix failures. I have the Airmega 200 and a 400. Honestly, I like the smaller one better. This one is the same as the 200 and takes the same filters. I just like the look of the 200 better.

Love my Coway Air Purifiers but really wish they had a child lock. My toddler and cats mess with all of them. Seems like such a big oversight!

Some of them do. Unfortunately the one I bought (airmega 300) does not.

I owned one for months. I have no need to have it on wifi. If you want to turn it off at times, a smartplug will do the job. It will automatically resume function after an outage.

They've popped up on here a few times, but other times I get whatever I can find on Amazon.

I got a fleet of these based partly on Wircutter's recommendation before learning that Wirecutter's air purifier reviews were basically nonsense. Still, it's a nice machine with a pleasant sound that works pretty well.

I don't think I ever spent more than $110 (waiting for sales), but I also haven't bought one in a few years, so I have no idea if this is a good price for this machine now. Regardless, I would be surprised if it were the best value option, but at least its ubiquity means you'll always be able to find filters.

good to know the $110 price point. Looks like this is always in the $150 price range normally? at least since I bought mine a few months ago
