Thanks guys Blowkiss I am sure she will.. Hoping she feels like the princess that we think she is heart I am trying to always remind her of that.. and that when she finds the "right" guy, he will treat her that way.. never accept any less Smilie But, for now, I want her to have a fun and safe night. It is just too early in the season for this stuff to be happening. Down Makes me really worried about what the actual storm season is going to be like.

Unfortunately I have seen this in person. Thankfully not my own home. But I live close to Joplin, Mo. And there was not a building left standing for miles. It was such a horrible feeling driving past buildings/homes that you had just seen hours before and they were perfectly fine and within minutes destroyed. It will be a year in May and a lot of places have rebuilt or started to rebuild but many many miles of just nothing but lots where homes used to be..sad.

Weather was wonderful here today.. 78 degress and so breezy.. went out and treated myself to a pedicure.. took both my girls with me. Of course, she wanted the fancy dress, shoes, nails, hair, limo, etc.. but, in the end, I got the dress she wanted.. took her for a pedi.. bought some nails she wanted that she will do her self and her friend is doing her hair and makeup for a small fee.. The limo will be a honda instead LMAO but she will look beautiful and hopefully have a wonderful night!
Did she have a good time?

We pay cell phone bills for my mom and sister so between 2 Sprint accounts we have 8 lines. Every time I pay them I about go into shock.

teenbean, wow! $14,000 in less than 18 months is a whole lot of debt to pay off. Congrats on such an accomplishment!

is that pioneer woman i saw on food network tv today the same one that people have been getting the recipes from? she lives on a ranch and blogs and her mother in law gave her a handful of index card recipes and said good luck?

She had a great time. Said she danced almost the entire time. They were sweet. Came home pretty much right after prom ended and sat at our house and hung out and talked. He finally left just before 2 am. I am gonna try to attach a picture for those who aren't on my FB page.



We got quite a bit of rain here last night. Made for a restless night of sleep. I am feeling it about right now..

And, now our stupid septic tank is acting up. I think all the rain pushed it over the edge.. Now DH is threatening the kids about not using water tonight.. no showers,etc.. and yeah, that is going over well with 3 teens who need to get ready for church in the morning laugh out loud

Morning, everyone! I'm home with 2 little ones that aren't feeling well. Hate to miss church, but not good to spread the germs!

Had a wonderful time last night. Went with my sisters and a friend to the Celtic Woman concert. So awesome. Chloe had an amazing performance of Ave Maria - took so much out of her she collapsed at the end. Once-in-a-lifetime thing. So awesome. That was my birthday gift from my hubby. heart

Searching out all the deals for this week. I had my first yard sale of the season yesterday - record-breaker!!! $600!!!! Faint Had NO idea it would be that great. We actually had to turn people away because we had a family event planned. Everyone was begging us to have another one next Saturday, so guess I have to spend this week restocking. My guess is the recent hike in gas prices has people anxious to save wherever they can. I am happy to help them!!! Big Grin
