Also there was loose grout so I was going to have to fix some tiles, and I pulled just a few off and sure enough, my worst nightmare came true..
But the good thing is we found it right away before we did all the painting and stuff and moved completely in.
My fiance's DD is 16 and no way I want a 16yr old living in here with that amount of mold.
I guess some inspectors do mold testing with a meter...not the one we used, ya live and learn. Rookie mistake...we now know better. Lesson learned the hard way.
And I will
I mean I'm having fun some of the time, but sometimes it just sucks..lol

It will be beautiful when you are done and that feeling of not only accomplishment but knowing you did all that with your own hands...will make it even cooler.

sorry this happened, but in the end, you still got a nice house with a killer den (and yard) and you'll have a great new, updated bathroom. Then, you can come pull my tiles off and knock my walls out....since you'll be all experienced and everything
Now sucky again, so back to work...I'll take some more pics later...haven't really done much other then knock out the walls and stuff.
It was fun the first day, now it's just cleaning up the mess....and boy does that suck..
But it smells sooo much better...
