What would you do if you came home from work and your bathroom looked liked this?

Basically, it will waterproof the greenboard, so when water seeps through the grout (it will eventually), you'll be ok..
Greenboard in itself is not waterproof.
Tear it down! Yay for bathroom renovations!
I did get the walls up and will be finishing it this week as soon as I have the baseboards put on a few rooms..:sigh:
So have to caulk the seams and put insert on,paint add fixtures, etc...not sure what we want to do with tub right now so going to just clean it up and use it for a bit. Keeping the tile floor for now too..so much other stuff to do I can't do everything the way I'd like right now. But it's sure better then the mold and that damn pepto bismal pink..
Here's the rest of the house before and afters.

Note: the brown actually looks really nice now that the floors are done (well will be in about another hour..lol)
We called it pepto-pink

Well I wound up doing all 4 walls as it was just easier that way...
It started because my DW slipped while showering and to catch her self stuck her hand out...well it went through the wet wall...into the stud cavity!
Next to the tub was the window and the sill was slanted toward the window instead of towards the tub...so the over spray would sit on the sill where we thought it was evaporating...nope went down the wall...Grrr!
So I ripped out all the drywall, the tub, the sink, etc...down to just the 4 walls and the floor. I put copper green on all the walls and then drywalled 'em.
We put in a plastic shower surround (as we were going to sell the house soon) so the drywall (used the greenboard version) was just fine.
What sucked the most was....we only had ONE bathroom!!!

Nothing was more satisfying then taking a sledge-o-matic to the pink crapper!
Then a shovel and the bits and pieces fit nicely into the weekly garbage can!
