Ya know.. I read last night, and again today.. what can I say, I like the drama cause it takes my mind off my real life drama... LMAO
Finally got tired of the same back and forth, and high horse attitudes, so against my better judgement decided to post and get involved in the debate and OT laugh out loud Guess I am wanting to live on the dangerous side today!
Your post was eloquent!

I took the opposite side of the fence as you. I always stick up for my SD buddies, even if I don't agree with them. In this case Ms. Gal. She is really a sweet heart heart
nod MsGal was in rare form. She is always pretty good at calling it as she sees it - but is usually a bit more artful in her approach. She just bulldozed right through this time.

Good rule to live by. That is one thing I really miss about my husband - he had that kind of loyalty. Any disagreement I had with someone else was easy for him to take a position on. He always had that "I don't really care who is right or who is wrong, she is my wife and that is that" kind of attitude. I loved that about him (...because I was wrong a lot Wink ).

I picked up a gazillion bags of the paper grass in pink, yellow and green last year @ 90%. Heck 800-Baskets uses the same type of paper grass in their baskets year round. Shouldn't be a problem.
Easter grass is really nice for shipping stuff too.

OOH speaking of novels, I have only read a single page of my book (Songs of the Humpback Whale by Jody Piccoult) in over a week! Sadwalk Every time I go to read, I fall alseep. I hope this ends soon bc I want to finish this book! Also I heard the new Sookie Stackhouse book is out and I need to read that!! laugh out loud
I think I finally gave up trying to read books until my son turned 20 or something...

Hope Lily (and you) feels better soon.

Morning everyone.. or maybe it is afternoon now Embarrassment

been looking at SD for quite awhile this morning.. Needing to find a deal on some things.. anyone wanna help laugh out loud

Seriously, I am also looking for a deal on a mothers day gift.. Searched amazon for almost an hour earlier looking for something for MIL. She is in Arkansas with DH grandma and I need something with free or cheap shipping.. I may just try to find a flower deal or something for her..

Also, need a deal on a rental van for a few days.. Looks like we may try to drive to Arkansas for a visit and my van has been acting up and DH is afraid to take it that far..
I belong to a free shipping thing HERE [freeshipping.com] They pay me back for what I spent in shipping from LOTS of stores. (Up to $10 per claim). I always use my money's worth (i.e. what my membership costs) but never use my max. If you have something you want to order, I can order it for you through the free shipping site.

Not sure. I haven't looked - because if they have it then I will have to take all those hangtags off bottles and buy it... too much energy....

My sister died in February 2005. She lived in Oklahoma but was buried here at home. Since my niece and nephew couldn't get up here for the first Mother's Day after her death, I decorated my sister's grave for them.

The cemetery is real picky about leaving flowers up very long. So I decided to do something my sister would love. She loved wearing silly hats. And she loved feeding the birds and other critters. So I made all her grave decorations edible for the birds and critters. And I made lots of hats.

I made the big hat out of a Pizza Crust and angel food cake - and then covered it with peanut butter and bird seed - and decorated it with fruits. The smaller hats I made out of taco salad shells shaped over desert cups - and covered them with bird seed and sunflower seeds. I cut the word MOM out of tortillas and covered it with birdseeds. And I made hearts from suet. I also got a straw hat and filled it with birdseed.

I am sure she loved all the birds and squirrels coming to her place for lunch!

It is so wonderful that you have such great memories of your hubby and that he treated you so well. Smilie

My husband is so good at that - and he NEVER says anything bad or off about me to anyone - EVER. I wish I could say that I was as good at that as he is, but I have occasionally said something... off... He's the bestest though. heart

Ariel, I am sorry for your loss. I find myself not knowing what to say, but I'd rather say what I just did because saying nothing is worse. I want you to know that I will be thinking about you on Mother's day. hug

How is Ms. Lily doing today? I'm sorry she is not feeling well. hug
She is very alert cause she wants cake. You do know her first word is going to be cake..

Sookie and Bill are married in real life. I didn't know that. I liked the show. Didn't love it, just liked.

Our new thing is the show numb3r's. Though I can't imagine how you go from a soft porn, violent show like true blood and then go to a main stream show.

You will throw your bestest bunny pal into a pot of boiling water, listening to me scream while in piercing pain...and then you would chew at my little body...but you won't eat a nasty little snot ball?!

Did you take a picture? Did you ship me a piece via overnight?
