I'm no pro, but I can definitely lend a hand if you'd like a new avatar or need some help with your existing one (and if I can't help hopefully someone here can help you)!

Here are some samples of work I have done. Please don't ask me to create something from scratch... I'm not that artistically gifted. laugh out loud I'm better at tweaking/resizing/altering images, adding backgrounds, special effects, etc. - and squeezing the crap out of current gifs to get them to fit into the tiny file size limitation.

I don't like it - every time I see her avatar I think about the larger image and blood quickly leaves the brain. It's distracting really!

The reason I did that one is because your image is already the max height of 66 pixels. If I put a border all the way around I'll either have to make it even smaller or chop off the top and bottom Frown

I was going for a filmstrip look, not a porno look laugh out loud

What about a still image with that border? (Click the link and click stop on your browser). It does look like a piece of film that way. I think it looks cool... it's up to you. I can add SD to the chest also if you want (assuming there's enough room Teehee) but let me know if you want it with or without the side borders.
