But I was being serious about my shoulder. I have torn cartilage (labral tear) that gets aggravated when I exert it too much. I'll give Wednesday's set a go at the current difficulty (>25 set) and if my shoulder feels like it's being strained too much, I'll bump it down to the middle set.

And my brother had a torn labrum. You may not want to mess too much with that. He had to have surgery and the recovery process was pretty long.
I did the first four sets on my Perfect Pushup handles but had to do the last set (max to failure, at least 17 reps) without them. And I struggled to push out 18 good form reps on that one. This should be pretty good!
I usually do 3 sets to failure on the PPs so this isn't that far outside what I was already doing - I was up to 16-18 reps per set. I also got my ab wheel from Amazon yesterday so today was a whole new kind of morning stretch/workout for me! Good stuff.
