So I tried the first day on Saturday and just decided to keep progressing. I did day three today and I felt like I was going to die during my last set. I'm such a weakling. Frown laugh out loud

They aren't kidding about allowing yourself time to rest & recover. Remember that you don't build muscle by working out - you build muscle by resting after working out. Your body needs time to repair the damage you've done with all of those pushups. (and it really is damage - you're literally tearing the muscle fibers and forcing your system to rebuild them stronger for next time)

So when they say three days/week with a rest day in between: listen!

Oh I definitely have been. I'll start week two on Saturday, which will give me two days off. I'm going to play some golf tomorrow.

Did my second day today. I bumped it down from level three to two, and that's more my speed. It did certainly seem a little easier than Monday's, even though it was the same number! Smilie

Had to start over - LONG week at work last week & I didn't work out or go to the gym at all, just ran a couple of miles a couple of times on the track near my house. Anyway.

That last set of 17 was kind of tough today. Hope it gets easier on Wednesday!

I am, but can't right now. I have an upper respiratory infection that's killing me. But as soon as it clears up, I'll be back on it.

I should have started week 3 today but instead it had me redo my initial test to see how many I could do. I started out the program doing 4 and now I can do 10. I'm making progress. Smilie

I'm going to start week 3 on Monday.
