This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

WOW!

I remember my doctor saying one of his first sew-ups during his residence was an Indian woman who had a 19lb baby.

At the time, I remember thinking he meant Native American.

Now I have to ask him! I wonder if it's common in India?

I totally feel like that is the baby inside me! I have gained 42lbs and still have almost a month to go.
I don't even know what I've gained, but I feel like I'm carrying around a 20lb lead weight strapped to my stomach.

LOL@ m2c's story...

nothing much else to say...

I need to shop tomorrow. cabinets very close to bare - strangely... and I have to make brownies tomorrow - then 2 cakes next week. My girls are growing up! Youngest is 2 on Sunday, oldest is 13 EEK! on Thursday. I guess that means I need bday gifts too. (gonna have to start taking advantage of those clearance toy deals!)

Okay, I guess it's not that odd that my cabinets are bare. I've spent more time at Wags than the grocery store for quite some time. I think I'm addicted to "freebies" - or maybe it's that I'm addicted to paying sales tax... sick, sick addiction.

Hey everyone! I passed my audition. The person who was scoring me told me that I still need to work on my confidence. But the audition was easier than the dry run with my trainer the day before. Now I am waiting to be called on to schedule my background check. So HR has to schedule with me a time with background check people. That office will give me a huge pile of papers and then they will reschedule another date for me to come back with all the completed paperwork. If they all takes place before next Wednesday I will be in the Oct 5 orientation group. But I think I will be in the following one that starts Oct 19 the way things look.

This job starts at part time and the hours are unknown until orientation. Nice huh? They usually give the new hires 1am to 9 am or 10 pm to 6pm, three days a week. But the last group of new dealers all got 5pm to 1 am. Honestly, that is what I want.

I know I cannot be choosy but darn. Those hours I like better.

The one thing I did learn about this class. It is not easy to be a dealer. HR person said it takes 300 applicants to hire 20 new dealers. Just my class alone we started with 21 in it and now there is 8 of us. There of course was the initial application, the first interview with a math test, checking to see if we could add of course. The second interview reminding us that what our new hours will be and the base wage is 5.86/hr. Then the sign ups for the six weeks of classes which is totally free and the student doesn't get paid for attending. All 8 of us waiting for our background checks to be completed. Some already have their paperwork turned in to background. I know I was on the bubble because the closer it got to audition day the more nervous I got and the more mistakes I made in class.
How awesome!! I hope you make it all the way through!! Congrats on making it this far!! Don't worry!! Relax... you'll do great!!

Wow! That's quite a load you are dealing with there! Seven kids and you are not even 30 yet?!? Faint You really need to get yourself checked out. Not being able to walk and having bones that hurt is not a good thing. It's important for you and your family. Taking care of yourself is so important, especially because you have so many kids. Big hugs and best of luck!

Awesome! woot I'm very happy for you. I hope you get the hours you want.
Thanks sweetie!! I will definitely go get checked out. hug

Not us but friends went to their resort at St. Lucia for their honeymoon and could not say enough good things. They loved it.

Definitely think about if you are the types who want to be at an all-inclusive resort. We prefer to go "exploring," esp. for meals, so it's never made sense for us.

Is it your joints or your bones? Have you considered the possibility that it may be rheumatoid arthritis? Of course it could be that you are tired from kids/school, but it doesn't seem like that to me hug

:
Hey... thanks...it is my bones and my lower back is all swollen... yuck... the kids seem mild to me... I guess because I am used to balancing them with school and owning a business... we will see Smilie Hopefully it is something super simple!! hug

Secret My mom had 6 by 28, but then again she's Superman

Great news!

Baby slept from 9:30 to 12:30 to 3:30 and it is 7:30 and he's still asleep!!!!! Yahoo! Mama had coffee in peace!
Thanks sweetie Smilie awww that is awesome your mom had 6, did she have any more afterwards? I am guessing all of you are close in age... I grew up with two older brothers (7 and 11 years difference in age)... so I am enjoying watching the kids play together and be best friends with their sisters and brothers Smilie They all seemed to have buddied up by twos so far... but the oldest everyone adores because she is the most caring... my two year (Marianna) tells me "Give me one for Yasmin (her 1 year old sister)". LOL YAY way to go little man!! Keep sleeping for mommy!!
