That's just our luck. I wanted to try the 4 & my store had a 2 & 6. You wanted a 2 & your store had a 0 & 4.
i'm thinking i should have tried the 4, since the 2 in blue was a bit tight on me. doesn't matter - i wouldn't consider it unless there was a good % + stacking opportunity anyway.
was going to hit up express again today to do the rest of the returns and stalk the clearance some more, but oh well. maybe when my other shipments come in i'll make a mid-week trip to the nicer one. we'll see!

I'm considering ordering a size 4 in the black lace peplum dress to see if it fits better. If it does, I'll exchange the 2 for other merchandise. If the 2 looks better, I'll return the 4 for money back. Is there another option I'm missing other than stalking the store for a 4? Even I would feel bad about sending DH to the store repeatedly looking for a 4.
I dislike showing bra straps. i would wear that top with a bandeau underneath. Tho I don't usually like tops that look like they were the result of a lion attack.

from dh's description, she might have been the one who helped me in my gift return. maybe that's why she wasn't smiling, in addition to the store being so busy. but then again, she's not the type that smiles.

Give her a break. Maybe, she had been to the zoo & was attacked by a lion. She had to stop by Sephora, after going to the emergency room, to pick up concealer to cover the stitches. It could happen.
Speaking of being conservative, I must be uber conservative. I don't even like the bra strap showing on a regular off-the-shoulder top or dress.
