1.colorblock fit and flare dress [express.com] in 2 - i think this needed a belt. it might have looked better with one but i didn't bring one into the fitting room.
2. colorblock fit and flare dress in 4 - it didn't need a belt as much in the larger size. i felt much more comfortable in this. overall i didn't love the fit of the dress on me, so i didn't get it.
3. cowl neck dress - wow, this dress is short. definitely not for the taller ladies.
4. black and white ponte knit bandage dress i found - this was pretty flattering! however it did the same thing as the 3/4 sleeve one - i feel like the white accentuated my tummy.
5. red shorts paired with easy tee that i picked up today (love the outfit! will have to figure out how to get the shorts!)
6. crochet shorts... not my favorite.
7. plus look how short they are!

i tried on that mesh dress you liked with the warping zipper. it didn't lay flat on me either. i tried to take a photo of the back:

I want some ivory crochet shorts. They didn't work for me either. I saw a jumpsuit at Arden b with crochet shorts on bottom and a white ruffley top. I want to create that look without wearing a jumpsuit or romper.

I really want the snake print maxi...and I'm trying to decide if now is the best time for me to buy it. It is on backorder. If I use a reward on it and buy it at the 30% price, will they just ship it as it is available, or will I have to pick something else out once they figure out it is on backorder?
I've had the absolute worst several weeks as far as school goes...so much department drama revolving around my project/progress. I completely crashed yesterday. Next week is spring break, but we don't really get spring break...but I'm taking it just to keep my sanity. I'm going to spend a week in Texas visiting friends and camping...without my laptop. I'll have my iPhone of course. Let's not get too crazy
I'm also booked for Germany and Holland in May for my "side job." I hope I get to see the tulips.
I have three SRC's. Unfortunately, I have been too swamped to really play the game this go around, but perhaps I can get a few more before time runs out. The swim code today sounds like a good one.

i also thought this blouse [kohls.com] was really cute but when i tried it on it was short and billowed out - the chest was snug but the rest of the blouse was huge. i might have been ok with it had it been a tad longer i guess. perhaps i should have tried the S but it just seemed too wide at the bottom.

alvs - i think the mesh ponte knit dress is just your style. iirc though, coupons exclude fashion star.

You probably did try the raspberry color. That's a really pretty color. I finally tried on the 4 1/2" shorts I ordered. DH thinks they give the bird leg effect, so I'm going to try to take the legs in a little. I'm definitely not returning them. The length alone makes them worth keeping. I ordered salmon & black, & plan to order a few more colors. Raspberry will probably be one of them. If that's the color you tried on, I definitely want them. When there's a sale, I'm planning to buy the the striped knit peplum top http://www.express.com/clothing/s.../cat610008 in Panama Beige to wear with the salmon shorts. I hope they look good together.

I ordered the color block dress in 4. After seeing it on you, I hope it's not too long to be cute on me. I plan to wear a thin black belt with it.
You probably did try the raspberry color. That's a really pretty color. I finally tried on the 4 1/2" shorts I ordered. the shorts definitely had wide leg holes - i like the look on me personally as opposed to the smaller leg holes of the crochet shorts. have you tried the striped knit peplum? it makes me look super busty so it may be too much for you larger chested ladies (remember alvs thought it might be too much for her). it's a very cute top tho!
