that's one of my favorite skirts from express. our sizing disparity is so weird! i have the 0 and it fits me - 2 was way big on me. strange how shorts fit us the opposite way with me liking the 2. the 0 skirt turns for me... but it's ok - i just pull it down a bit and it's not as bad.

i don't find it short for me.

I've tried different eyelash enhancers/growers, but if it makes my eyes feel like they're burning, not sure if that's worth it? I have Revitalash and the Tarte Multi-eye one. My eye doc was very hesitant about me using Latisse. She said the derms prescribe it instead of optometrists and once they have problems with the eye, then patients are referred to optometrists. She did say that those appear to work though. Maybe I'll whip out my tubes and give them a try again.

I use UD's 24/7 on my waterline. Staying power is okay only because my eyes water like crazy all the time. I've also used Tarte's Emphaseye [sephora.com]. I find that that one gets into the lash line really well because of the small tip. I don't use this often because I don't tightline often. I also think this looks better on the waterline.

I've never used a pen liner before. That might solve the problem.


I'm not quite sure which one nerdi is talking about, but this is theone [uncommongoods.com] I've given to DBF before. He likes it. Said it works well. It's just those freezable ice things in an ice pack made to fit into the wine. I think the only downside was as it melted, it would kind of dilute the wine.

i hope it works well. it sounds promising - there's an attached wine pourer and the chill stick doesn't melt into the wine.

Completely horrible travel companions.. I guess that officially nixes them from future trips with you and your hubby. Really rude. Not only that, but it takes time and energy to itemize expenses, I should know... it's a task when I divide things up with my sister, she takes the time to make an excel spreadsheet and I know it requires formulas for her to input... At least they paid a portion vs not paying at all... What comes around goes around..

Yes. Also, now I will have no problem telling DH if he wants to give them another chance, he's on his own. While I wish they had said "itemize" from the start- that argument could have dragged out forever. DH apologized for miscommunication and that he could see that the group's momentum may have made it harder for them to make their voice heard. IMO, even that's giving them too much slack - they led the charge on changing things, they just kept getting voted down b/c their expectations for a camping trip were so out of line with what one would want to do when they go to a national park (let's sit around and drink during daylight hours instead of exploring what we traveled 12 hours to see). Yeah we got some $$... now groomzilla's saying, "Thanks for trying to see it from our side, so I guess the fair thing to do would be to split the difference down the middle, how does that sound?" Either pay it or don't pay it, but don't act like this is your good@mn compromise. They really don't have anyone left but the lifelong friends of his (she doesn't have any - short or long term) that won't let go ... it is a sorry sight. I don't know if they will ever be shorted... they never front money for anything so they are always in a position to withhold funds. I'm beginning to think they feel like they're "bargaining" with us to get a good deal.

I called Sephora yesterday, there was a problem on June 14th when I placed the 2 orders for 3 eyeshadow sets and other samples, where the 250pt perk wasn't taking off 250pts, it was taking off 500, so I called them, and they added 250pts to the account But when my sister placed her order yesterday, it was taking off the correct 250pts... So at least when I do whatever returns, it won't bring her pt balance negative..
