Anybody ever cut cable with a firestick/roku+kodi? Are you happy with the decision?

My biggest issue will be sports. I dont have any of this yet but know a couple friends that swear by it.
If you've cut cable and done this + a HD antenna are you happy with your decision?

First time hearing of Kodi so I may have to look into that.

The fire stick seemed to get quite hot and had some problems. We haven't used it much and Amazon's TV/movie service doesn't seem very well organized to me. I guess I'm just used to how Netflix works now.
We don't watch sports... maybe once or twice a year we will watch basketball. Used the internet to watch TV on New Year's last year. Our local service worked for what we needed.
We also have an Amazon Fire and a couple Fire Sticks in the house, and I have sideloaded Kodi on them all. I have a ton of content on my Synology NAS drive, and we use Amazon Prime and Netflix. We used to use Hulu Plus, but with the Tivo it was really redundant and still had commercials, so we cut that out.
We still get some football on the broadcast channels, but just not as much as we used to get. The only channels we really miss are TNT, AMC, ESPN, and G4, and there are ways to get nearly all that missed content anyway.

Current TV shows is a different type of site. I have a link for that too.
