All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! Who is the one who told me to peel my sunburn? Its addicting
I don't know that I told you to peel it, but I did confess my fascination with peeling them. If you were here, I don't know if I'd be able to resist - it would beckon me!

OMG Jen, Your dd sounds just like my kids. DD (4) & DS (6) still stick their fingers in the tub of butter and eat it vomit .

When ds was about 3 1/2, I left a BIG bottle of baby powder on the table. He got ahold of it and stood in the middle of the living room and spun in a circle...letting the baby powder fly everywhere! The bottle was full when he started...not so much when he was done! We were cleaning baby powder up for weeks.

DD learned how to open the door locks at 2. We had to put a deadbolt on the top because she would just open the door and go outside and I'd have no idea where she was.

I'd give you a glimpse into the future, but I don't want to scare you. LMAO
My (almost) 2.5 yo is somewhat like that - he always wants more butter and has recently tried sneaking into the fridge. Thankfully the butter is waaay to high for him. We got him this puzzle some time ago and later realized that it was probably a bad idea - nothing like teaching your kid to pick locks at the age of 2

But I'm afraid that he is nothing compared to what our 8 month old will be like at that age... or the trouble that the 2 of them will get into together - oh dear!

Preach it, sister!!

But I guess that's the American way, at least lately. Reward the lowest common denominator and the worst behavior.

I'm going to West Burlington, IOWA for Christmas this year. I have a 4 year old and a 20 month old. If anybody knows, what kind of clothes, shoes should I purchase?? I know it's cold but what would you guys recommend? Certain things that are must haves' for that weather. I live in Fresno, CA and it doesn't get very cold here so I am clueless.

If you guys can help me out I would really appreciate it. I don't want to over-pack because it is $25 per bag, and after paying over $2,000 for airfare, I really don't want to spend too much money. Thanks!
I grew up outside of Fresno and it does get cold. I live in Austin now and I hang out in tanks and shorts Dec, Jan, Feb, all year round. I go home every Christmas and have to pack sweats, sweaters, jackets. In Austin my kids rarely need a jacket a sweater is good enough on the rare cold days.

I have never lived in Iowa but based on where it is located I would suggest that you pack for layers, that way the kids can be bundled up outside and shed the layers as needed.

My DH used to shave his head in his early twenties (not so much anymore now that nature has taken over Teehee).

Apparently once he got a wicked bad sunburn on his newly-shaven head and the skin was coming off in these giant sheets. . . vomit

But I do understand the fascination in a weird, gross, way.

Does anyone actually LOVE their job? Like, looks forward to going and enjoys the time while you are there? Just wondering. I love what I do (taking care of ppl) , but hate the environment, does that make sense? I am really trying to work on a more positive outlook on life, but it is easy to get pulled back into crap Sadwalk

I wonder if I need a new profession/work environemt/ shift????
I LOVE my job! I Have also LOVED the job I have been doing the past seven yearsLMAO Granted I was only pd in hugs and kisses, and the frequent meltdown in the grocery store, Being a SAHM mom has been awesome, being the cafeteria monitor at school is AWESOME, the kids are so great. My coworkers are awesome.

Previous to that, I had a philosophy that I stuck with, if my job is so bad that I don't enjoy it and find myself complaining, time for a new job. I had 5 jobs between 18-23, but every job change took me up the pay scale and out of a frustrating managment situation. My suggestion, if you are unhappy start looking around, don't fence yourself into a type of job either, it is amazing what falls into your lap when you are watching and open for a change.

To Doublesided and any others who were interested in Pediasure at WAG:

This deal gets even more interesting (and complicated):

https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?sduid=345332&t=924256

So during the "double dip" period-- the end of next week, Sept. 26th and 27th-- you will be able to use the 3 WAG Qs + MQs on the Pediasure. Should make it free or nearly free.

If you need help on this feel free to PM me or ask on chat; I'm happy to assist. Or Trang or other WAG experts can, I'm sure.

Oh boy, I'll need help, I just PM'd you.

INAA-you are funny as anything and I miss your posts when you take breaks from SD

So baby's in bath.
I get off work before, run out to LR to do 5p insulin and holy cow there is this awesome dinner sitting there and drawings from the baby, water in nice glasses, etc. I look at my husband with the "what did you screw up now" look. He says happy anniversary. Holy crud, totally forgot with all this craziness.
He says this buys him a week out of the doghouse now.
I have to run to CVS in a bit, the rest of the RX is there. Pain in the butt. I think in honor of our anniversary I'll do a honeymoon SF book tonight

I found 2 tear pads at Kmart today and accidently pulled off more than I need. I'd be happy to share. I'm looking for $1 Green Giant Steamers and the B3G1 Kleenex but trade isn't necessary. PM me if you can put them to good use.

B1G1 Halls
Buy $10 worth of Kotex get a $5 Kmart GC (Must send in your Kmart receipts dated 9/7-10/13)
