As for why isn't this getting much love? Man, I have no idea!!! I posted on a Friday afternoon and now it's the leadup to turkeyday so I guess everyone's just too busy to look for niche products...?? I bought it, for damned sure, after waiting a while for discounts. There's almost no difference between any of their (non-designer series') models besides number of pre-set buttons, plus this one leans towards the higher end of the options. I really wish this had gotten its due-attention when the squaretrade warranty was dirt cheap but they have been wavering every few days so maybe they'll drop back down. (but, again, I bet a 5min phone call would net you the old price)
(Also, I friggin' hate most consumer electronic "touch screens" or "touch sensitive" panels... much prefer buttons like this!)
