Shows up as $189 for me. Is there a reason this isn't getting as much love as other Blendtec/Vitamix refurb deals? Based on my limited research I'm not sure what advantage the other models have over this other than newer touch screens.

Still $189 for me too -- eww but the extended warranties have jumped to $31 and $10. For anyone who wants the longer warranty, it would definitely be worth a call directly to Square Trade and ask them if they could let you purchase the warranty directly from them for the original ask of $12 or $6. (Call. Don't bother with their website. Their customer service is top-notch and very amenable to discounts.)

As for why isn't this getting much love? Man, I have no idea!!! I posted on a Friday afternoon and now it's the leadup to turkeyday so I guess everyone's just too busy to look for niche products...?? I bought it, for damned sure, after waiting a while for discounts. There's almost no difference between any of their (non-designer series') models besides number of pre-set buttons, plus this one leans towards the higher end of the options. I really wish this had gotten its due-attention when the squaretrade warranty was dirt cheap but they have been wavering every few days so maybe they'll drop back down. (but, again, I bet a 5min phone call would net you the old price)

(Also, I friggin' hate most consumer electronic "touch screens" or "touch sensitive" panels... much prefer buttons like this!)
