If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull
Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

I got this card previously and I don't remember if wait period is over. Is there a way to check if I am available? Thank you
4 years from the time you were approved for the previous card. You can check your credit history on Chase Credit Journey or Credit Karma or Credit Sesame and check when this card shows up in your credit history and then add 48 months to it and you will know when you can reapply for the bonus
The majority of my spending is on take out from restaurants, but will be traveling 3-4 times in 2020. Are there better cards for me versus this no one?

48 months from when you earned your latest Sapphire bonus, not from approval. So to be safe, you can take the approval date and add 4 years + 4 months (latest timeframe that the bonus could be earned).
Have had this card for about 3 months and hit $ for bonus quickly due to holidays. Wanted to make note that Chase did outstanding job catching a fraudulent purchase and blocked it. $1 purchase was blocked and then a larger one from Best Buy.com. Sent new card in like 48 hours. I was surprised they caught because I had been making purchases at all hours and some international.
Yes, spending $4,000 to get 60k point is absolutely worth it, AS LONG as you were intending to spend that $4,000 anyways. If you're having trouble spending $4,000, then this credit card is not for you.
What do you intend to do with your credit card? You'll still have to pay the annual fee.
I have a large purchase coming up that would satisfy the $4k requirement.. My question is, what do people do with annual fee cards like this? After you earn the reward, do you close the card or do you keep paying the annual fee? How do you make it worth it to keep the card when paying that fee? Thanks so much!

There's a few options you can take after earning the reward
1. Keep and use it. This card has good benefits and a decent earning, so I feel most people can easily make up the annual fee, and more
2. Downgrade the card to a no annual fee card: Chase Sapphire (the no annual fee, no real benefits though), Freedom, or Freedom Unlimited
3. Cancel the card
For option 2 and 3, don't do this until you had the card for at least 1 year. It looks really relaly bad to Chase if you earn the point, and dump the card right after. That's how you'll get blacklisted

If you're flexible on your dates, yes. You can find a flight from JFK to HNL for a little under 60,000 round-trip.
Thank you.
