Better buy base model and upgrade RAM and SSD yourselves. It is very easy with this model
If you have EPP through perks at work, you may qualify 50% off.
Edit 1: If you or any friends have company discount through perksatwork or such portals always first try to see if that comes cheaper compared to coupons. Many people have reported that buying that way have got them superior discounts.
Edit 2: Seems like there is a slickdeals rebate going on top of promo code from 8/14 to 8/18. This cannot be combined with cashback sites or EPP. for more info, Please see the slickdeals post -

Great new laptop and a great deal
Wonder how much cheaper it would be on a higher tier...
BTW, anyone wants to make a purchase this time, use THINKBIGSALE for higher discount (45% off) than THINKBIG.

Upgrading SSD and RAM does not ruin Lenovo warranty unlike Dell. So if anyone is getting this, i would just recommend buying lowest version and then upgrade memory and hard drive
I did not thumb down, to be clear.

I'm guessing because of the keyboard? I work on my XPS 15 and that's the only thing I miss coming from an X1C 3rd gen.
