Callled (800) COMCAST and first talked to Sales (Renee), who couldn't see the deal as an option. She transferred me to retentions when I mentioned cancelling. Retentions asked me what the terms were, 12 month agreemen, ($30/mo after auto bill pay and paperless) and first tried to sell me on sticking with Blast for $50 after autopay, etc before signing me up for this current deal.

Best of luck.

I had no luck with the rep I spoke with on the 1-800-Comcast number. She said that she had been with Comcast for 20 years now and was pretty familiar with their system and where things were located and yet she couldn't find the deal I was describing to her.

I was telling her that the Performance Pro was $70 per month less a $30 promotional discount that required a 12-mo agreement and then another $10 discount that required autopay and paperless billing. She said that the only discount she had available was a student promo for $10 off for autopay & didn't see anything else. I'm not a student so I don't see how any of this would apply or how to get the $30/month deal that others are getting.

For people who successfully got these promotions as an existing customer can you please populate the following data in a reply here?

Region (based on map in OP):
Number you called:
Department who ultimately process it properly:
Monthly fee:
Plan Name:
Download speed:

Also, I'll assume these are all 12-month promotions but if you had a different contract length please post details.

After reading, it sounds like I can get the Performance Plus plan which is 175-200Mbps down in the Western Region (Colorado) for $30/mo for 12 months. Does that sound accurate?

The Comcast rep I spoke with in-store yesterday told me that our existing plan could be had for about $65/month which saves us about $15 over what we're currently paying. This rep I spoke with on the phone said that the same thing would be about $55/month so that's at least a trend in the right direction. She said that it was a "new customer promo" that she could apply to my account since we had been such long time customers but that still isn't as good as the $30/month I've seen people talking about here.

Any further details from people who have successfully got this deal would be helpful.

This link isn't working for me. It takes me to the same promotional page that I can access by just logging into my account, but I'm not seeing 100 mbps for $30 anywhere. Is there a trick to get to it?

The price varies by location. If there is competition in that location, they might offer lower price.

I'm sort of just coming in here to give a suggestion to everybody to Thumbs Down this deal ... for only ONE REASON! The 1TB cap per month!

I'm thinking we should as collective whole ... not join the companies that impose the DATA CAP.

How do you guys feel about the DATA CAP ... and if you want to support the companies that have it?

Yeah! Crusader in the thread. Down with DATA CAPS! Especially now that many people are streaming Netflix/Amazon/Disney/Apple/YouTube/ etc ... 4k videos with more than one person in the home.

I couldn't agree more but, unfortunately for us & like most people using Comcast, we have no other option. Currently.

In about 12-24-mos we're one of the lucky ones who will have municipal-provided high-speed internet. 1000/1000 w/o data caps for less than $60 per month. TV channels included for free is just an added bonus. For now though I have to hold my nose every time I pay the Comcast/Xfinity bill. Each time knowing I'm one bill closer to real internet & the deal I just got via this thread also helps.

Why would any1 still go with Comcast after their 1TB limit and only 5Mbps upload? With Fios or at&t ipad plan $30/mo, there are options out there.

Can you elaborate on the iPad plan for using for house internet ( if that's what you mean)?

I am an existing customer (from Houston), could only get 75Mbps for $44.99/mo through retentions. Ended up cancelling my account.
