Squat Racks are getting harder to find now especially with the quarantine. Everybody is setting up their gym at home. The price of steel is expected to shoot up this year.

This Rack is currently on Amazon for $179. (it was about $116 pre covid)

It has decent reviews compared to alot of other racks in this price range. I found this on the shelf at my local Wal-Mart so YMMV.

My wife has this model, and there is a serious flaw in the design IMO. The vertical bars on the rear are different - one is for holding weight and the other is hollow to hold the bar.

What happens is you use the bar without those specific weights on the rear, and suddenly it's not evenly weighed down at all. Even if you leave the bar back there, it still isn't evenly weighed down.

This makes a very unsafe scenario if you're using bands on the upper bar or using the lift bar without the weights on the rear. Bottom line is, if you're going to get this model, do yourself a favor and bolt it to the concrete floor. It'd be much better to have two vertical bars on both sides so you can put one plate on the right and one plate on the left. And virtually every other rack I've seen is designed the right way.

I think they did that for a landmine attachment which gives you more exercises. I just leave the bar on the rack, landmine on one side and a 45lb on the other vertical bar and good so far.

Does anyone know where to get attachments for this? I'm trying to look for weight plate holders that attach to the holes but these holes are 13mm and seems like all other racks have holes that are 1", so I can't find any attachments that fit this.

I own this model. It's great. It doesn't need to be bolted down if you know what you are doing. Assuming you are talking about the J-cups. I got it thru amazon when covid hit and it was missing a J-cup and found rogue fitness carries the exact size for their squat rack. It fits perfectly and is a far better quality J-Cups. You can find the safety catches on amazon too

Would this work well for pull ups without needing to bolt it down?

What do you mean by it doesn't need to be bolted down? I just bought this and live in an apartment. How is your setup?
