Look for used ones on Craigslist or FB Marketplace, they can be in pretty decent condition and you can get a decent deal off of retail. If you stick with Ninebot/Segway or Xiaomi scooters, you won't have to worry about replacement part availability

There are a lot of eligible products did that 25% off (which is a bit of a surprise, some cost $800 or so). Some are low quality, but I think this one in particular is a good value (I ordered one myself to commute between two locations in town at work, plus the fun itself).

Yup. I recommend always wearing a helmet. You see a lot of injuries and warnings on reddit.

Like to see these things are still going on "sale". I can't justify getting one, partly because where I live just doesn't work for using it... But would love to get one someday. Just hoping eventually parts will be more interchangeable, and you won't have to worry about finding replacement batteries etc. I'm assuming this situation could be better, like with most things

Bought mine for 250 when first released. It does have a speed limiter on it that you will feel if you ever rode a scooter that does not have one. I would say real time speed is between 13-14 mpg. The distance is really good compared to my v2. I can ride this around for atleast an hour and know I have battery left to get home and then some. Been awhile since I rode tho cause it's too cold for winter to jump on a scooter for me. Battery still working after just sitting. Never experienced any tire problems, I always make sure enough psi is in the tires weekly/bi weekly when riding. Definitely worth it to commute around a city it will cruise you around.
