Thanks. It works when using Ethernet.

ATgames oem spinner (HAA340) $29.99

https://www.atgames.us/collection...eservation
Has anyone confirmed that this would be a plug and play? Does the spinner port on the controller board work? Would a new hole need to be drilled or could an existing button hole be used?

I'm trying to envision where that goes. The ALU has it integrated into the panel and that looks like a different part completely (unless the black section goes underneath)

The part is in the "replacement parts" area of the site, I saw no notes on using this other than as a replacement part on the Legends Ultimate.

Finally got around to playing with mine. Unlike most posters, I didn't buy this for the puck, but strictly as a controller for MAME on the computer.

My computer recognized this as a USB controller as soon as I hit the power button. Works fantastic in MAME (you'll have to hit TAB and map the controls to the game). Trackball is a little tight, but played very well on Golden Tee. The only mod I've made is to change the right joystick to a 4-way only, while keeping the left as an 8-way. I purchased a SANWA square restrictor plate, which was rotated from square to diamond. Made a huge difference playing the sped-up version of Ms. Pacman.

Next I fired up some Visual Pinball and played with the side buttons. That worked great as well. I only had to re-map the left flipper button.

All-in-all, this was (is?) a fantastic deal. Congrats to everyone using the puck and fooling around with Sauce, but I didn't care about that. Was simply looking for a well-made setup for MAME and Visual Pinball.
I was also most impressed how big of an improvement playing PC emulators was connecting this directly as a controller. It's a blast in most emulators: Mame32,VP,FP, console, Amiga, c64 etc...Pinball feels like real pinball with buttons on the side.
===============================================================

On PC, Others have mentioned PinballFX3 steam being possible. I eventually tried that game successfully using "XOUTPUT", by creating 2 virtual xbox360 controls to mimic & they are activated so the Game pro controls are recognized as 2 Xbox360 controllers. Only bad thing is I have to configure a few pinball buttons "in game" , for each and every time I want to boot up the game. The controls don't save in my game for some reason. I also played Pinball Arcade & Stern PBA using Xoutput.
My pc games: Pinball Arcade "In game Button Configuration" is as follows: (Pinball FX3 has the same Flippers, and plungers key configurations)
Left Flipper -LB
Right Flipper - RB
2nd Left flipper - "Left Joystick side bottom button"
2nd Right flipper - "Right Joystick side bottom button"
Plunger manual control - D pad down
Plunger Button - Button A or "Right Joystick side bottom button"
Nudge left - D pad right
Nudge right - D pad left
Nudge up - D pad up
Nudge down - Back(P1) or Rewind Button

===============================================================

**** I also need to look into modding one of my joysticks with a restrictor plate like you...either square or octagonal---never knew we could do this and that it makes a difference.
Update: Visual VPinmame and Future pinball: My Vpinmame Button mapping tips:
Button15 (left flipper), Button7 (atgames button Exit game)
Button6(Right flipper), Button10 (Start game)
Button8 (Plunger), Button13 (add credit)
Button16or14? (left nudge), Button 1 (right nudge)

More Future pinball buttons:
Button2 (B) (Special 1)
Button1 (A) (Special 2)
Button14 (Change Camera)
X-axis(NudgeX)
Y-axis(NudgeY)

? (Left 2nd Flipper)
? (Right 2nd Flipper)
? (Pause)
Button5(Y) (Look at Backbox)

------------------

I also installed sauce and it provides a really nice coinopsx interface, bezels and artwork, but logging in every 5 uses may be needed, and may annoy some people who just want it to work all the time.
Still it's a great option to have another way to use this controller, and just connect it to an hdtv, not having to fire up a computer or laptop & have 1600+ arcade games available
with preconfigured controls esp. games using 2 joysticks: robotron, crazy climber, etc.

other things to note: usb flash drives may get hot and eventually burn out & stop working. So be prepared to make a backup usb drive in case this happens after long term use.

Can anyone confirm if this would just work with xbox 360 as a controller? I'd love to be able to play games like Mortal Kombat on 360 with this controller or racing games.

Finally got 4.5 saucy to run last night but the interface seems slow. Does running this on a 4k vs 2k tv matter in term of performance?

I found one more choice from microcenter $50 Atari named spinner. (Good to know we have the option to add this ourself as a mod in the future any time if our heart desires...)
https://www.microcenter.com/produ...sb-spinner
yt vid>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlwX-DVzoqU
probably easier to go for the GRS model you linked.
--------------
Interestingly I also ran across a GRS Tron Controller mod, but the part is out of stock, & expensive/rare on ebay >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5ogpPlgid0

I have the same issue with many random games. So some games may not work, ...wonder if it is related to speed of flashdrive. I kept trying and it eventually ran in one game. Can't remember the specific games that gave me problems, but they were usually the larger more modern 1990s games.

I believe it's the limitation of pulling videos off flash drive. Using the 4k tv's "game mode" might help. I just use this on an older 1080p hdtv to be sure - (mine is ok without lag, but don't expect to flip thru games very fast). Use a usb 3.0 Flash drive.
But I think different random usb flash drives & brands are hit or miss on speed. I've only used Sandisk ultra so far, and I know they are not the best but seem ok so far.
(usb Longevity issue: usb drive durability with heat and fast speed performance can vary from different usb drives).

Thanks for the link... what I'd really like is to replace the left-hand joystick with a Tron stick and install a spinner on both sides. With that I could finally play Tron correctly (second spinner not for Tron but just to have one on the other side). And while there are a couple of videos showing how to install a Tron stick on a Legends Ultimate there's no way I'm going through expense and risk without seeing at least two YouTube videos with that being done on a Legends Gamer Pro.

After getting my unit and getting CoinOpsX 4.5 installed.. here's my thoughts in comparing with my custom arcade I made last year with RetroPie and Raspberry 3b+.

1. The controls on this thing are a definite step up from the cheap USB controllers I got from Amazon that I think I spent like $40 on (without the trackball).
2. CoinOpsX has a really nice interface, although I prefer the customizations available with a RetroPie build.
3. The lag with BT is noticable, but not horrible if not using the trackball. The trackball games are unusable for me with BT. Wired doesn't seem to have a problem though.
4. The fact that the Puck doesn't have an On/Off button is really stupid. Right now, I'm just unplugging the puck to turn it off.. but will soon have to figure out a better way to do this.
5. I don't like the fact that CoinOpsX essentially needs to keep a connection to phone home every once in a while.. so offline won't work for it.
6. Not sure why, but my display is outputtting to 720p even though my TV is 1080p. Anyone else having this weird issue?
7. Hooking this up to a Windows PC, it's automatically recognized, but buttons and controls are not mapped to what you would expect, so I'll have to figure out a remapping tool to get it to work it looks like.
8. The build is pretty good.. but the plastic bottom feels a little cheap.

Overall.. Excellent value! Just the controls itself without the puck is probably worth $100.

3. I have no input lag now, I did have input lag when my TV wasn't set to "Game" mode. Make sure the noise reduction/motion interpolation is turned off on the TV.
4. You can plug it into a smart-switch and turn it on/off that way? "Alexa, turn on/off arcade"
7. People have had success using JoyToKey I believe, at remapping controls.

If his lag was due to the tv setting, it wouldn be present all of the time, independent of whether he was on bluetooth or usb for the controller connection.
