This popular clamp fan is now available for in store pickup. Seems to be available at some of the zip codes I checked. Just snagged 3 for some future trips.

When I posted here about these fans one month ago, the HD website said that they were not available for in store pick up and that it was "limited stock".
It never changed and still says that same thing.

How I found them was that I was on a site that features new tools. I saw model number to search with on HD and of course it came up "no store pick".
I went right up to the store 20 minutes before closing and asked the help about them. I told them that I had read online where they were stored in the "no home" section.
She took me to that section and there were eight of them stacked flat where you could barely see them.

I bought two and have been using them for the whole month now. They're pretty handy to have.

This is a brand new fan that was just added to the Ryobi line. It was just added to the Home Depot website now. Some Home Depots have had them for sale since they were announced a few weeks ago but they have been hard to find in stock. They look like they are extremely versatile and well designed.

Ryobi fans boys have been buying up all the stock.
Actually they were on HD site one month ago. They would come up "in-store only" and "limited stock".
Anyway, I posted the deal, but explained how they weren't officially in the stores yet and that you had to go into the store and ask the clerks where the new, "no home" items were kept.

The deal was reported expired, but my store had the same six still a week later. I was nice and bought only two of the eight that they had.

They work great for me at games, events etc.

What is the battery life like? I would love a fan in my tent on warmer camping trips but can it run for hours on end?

I ran mine on high with a 1.5 Ah battery and I'm thinking that it went for three hours. It was a one year old battery though.
I have a 4Ah battery now, so I'll test it this weekend and post my results back here then.

My nearby store's brickseek inventory and their confirmed system inventory said they have 14 but I had the manager and 4 associates comb the store and they can't find them. Looked in new no home section and in the overhead throughout the store.

They've been in the seasonal fan section when I've checked, an endcap promotional area over by the grills next to box fans and window AC units. Really terrible placement where nobody would think to look for them.

Went to my local store(#1122); grabbed 2; left 5. Mine were next to self checkout behind the key machine. I walked right past them and didn't notice.

I think you are confusing RPM for CFM there buddy...

2400 CFM and you could build your own DIY prop - plane.
There are plenty of box fans that output more than 2,400 CFM, ObiNotKnowbi

It was obviously a joke dude. Bigger fans put out larger CFM but you are not going to get that out of a 4" fan.

I thought you were serious. Lots of people would say that with a straight face and believe themselves. But yes, I agree you're never getting 2,400 CFM out of this fan.

Hmm..just checked again and no ship to home/store is available now. Weird...wonder if they are gonna cancel the order I just placed.

I checked on Brickseek and Oakland, CA store had 12 in stock. I called in and the sales associate said they didn't have any. I trust Brickseek more than the sales associate so I went in anyway.
When I got to the store, I got a good sales associate and she went to check on her computer. She said the store showed limited stock which meant they might not have any. I persisted so we went looking on some end caps and then went to the Ryobi aisle.
There were at least six locked in the cabinet but fairly hidden.
I bought two and left four in the cabinet. Hopefully a slickdealer can take advantage of my treasure hunt.
