Really wish more cards offered a home utilities category. There is a card by US Bank which has this but they're super sensitive to people with lots of cards. I have over 800 FICO and got denied by them. Don't know of any other card that offers that category.
I got the US Bank card a couple months ago. I've been frustrated as purchase categories don't always match what you expect. They said my internet provider coded as "Computer Network Information Services" not straight "Internet" so, no 5%.
I cannot find the Credit Karma link $300, can you PM the link please? TIA.

You missed it. I applied and was approved yesterday around lunch. A couple hours later the link was dead.
How does citi define the "3 months" for spending $1000? Is it 90 days from the enrolling date? Or is the last day the bill closing date of the third month? For example, if I enrolled in this offer at Nov 1st, 2021, the last day is Feb 1st, 2022? or the bill cycle closing date Feb 25th, 2022?

3mo from card approval date -- their bonus tracker shows you the exact date
3mo from card approval date -- their bonus tracker shows you the exact date
So it is 90 days after the card approval date? I talked to a customer service but she said the billing cycle closing date, which is almost 110 days after the approval date, I am confused that if I can get the bonus if I have spending after the 90 days.

You have 90 days to hit $1000 spend req -- their bonus tracker shows you the exact date and amount you have left out of $1000
Bonus is pending after you hit $1000 -- bonus is available for use when the statement generates

Did you miss spending with in 90 days of card arrival? Terms say, 90 days of account opening which technically means, the day they approve, but we could still argue with card arrival date. But if the spending not totaling by the 90th day, their automated system will not process the award and can be a big pain !

Sorry, you missed it. I also got the 404 error when I clicked on the link that I used to apply.
Citi is very friendly for product change. You should give them a call if you really don't care the bonus.
Much better than capital one where when I tried to convert the quicksilver over to the savor card the response was "The savor card has never allowed product changes" and their consistent because I tried it about 18 months back and got same answer. In my delusion I thought they might eventually loosen up the restrictions once it was an established card.
Can I paypal or venmo my wife $1k with the 2.9% fee to meet the minimum spend for the 30,000 points bonus?
Yes, you can. However, are you not able to spend $1,000 in 3 months? That shouldn't be that tough. I would only do that in your last week or so and just spend the remainder like that.

Yeah, I can but I want to get the bonus pay it off and do a balance transfer by the end of next month. When another BT offer expires.
I understand club warehouse purchases or insurance payments don't qualify for the 5%, but do they count toward meeting the $750 spending for the bonus points? Thanks!
