This has an msrp of $550 so it's really only $10 off. Newegg has had upcharges on hot items. Like the 5950x for $850 instead of $800

looks like Amazon has jumped onto the raising prices train too. I saved the 5950x and 5900x to my cart at $800 and $549. now they are also showing higher prices. still sold n ship by Amazon.

Anything below retail is good for this chip. The other series below it are finally getting a decent discount off retail now. Love to upgrade my old 1700x with this for my editing.

Just a tip - Run corecycler before the return/exchange runs out. They're beasts but I had to Rma once to get one that passed in stock settings. Probably never would have known otherwise just sharing my experience.

Prices are raised because vendors are charging more.
