Looks like this is apart of today's (7/22/21) shell shocker for Newegg with promo code 93XRN29

Great deal as it's below MSRP and in stock!

This has an msrp of $550 so it's really only $10 off. Newegg has had upcharges on hot items. Like the 5950x for $850 instead of $800

looks like Amazon has jumped onto the raising prices train too. I saved the 5950x and 5900x to my cart at $800 and $549. now they are also showing higher prices. still sold n ship by Amazon.

Newegg's stock has had an epic pump recently. That's the best deal.

Anything below retail is good for this chip. The other series below it are finally getting a decent discount off retail now. Love to upgrade my old 1700x with this for my editing.

$20 says when Intel releases Alder Lake (12th gen) in 2-3 months that magically Zen 3 prices are all below MSRP and availability is no longer an issue. As AMD will lose the performance crown and need to compete on pricing. https://videocardz.com/newz/intel...h-r20-test
Another Intel Hoax. Just like how Rocketlake was supposed to crush Zen 3. laugh out loud

$100 says AMD still outperforms in IPC, low voltage and heat…

Yeah I've lost all faith in Intel. They're not even trying

I'll happily pay extra to AMD for less heat and enjoy a slightly lower ac bill.

Just a tip - Run corecycler before the return/exchange runs out. They're beasts but I had to Rma once to get one that passed in stock settings. Probably never would have known otherwise just sharing my experience.

Prices are raised because vendors are charging more.
