It's hard, non ergonomical and generally uncomfortable. Spending any length of time in it will be detrimental to your back and mental well being. Walk... Run away from this chair at any price

Fwiw, I've owned this chair for 3-4 years and have had no complaints. I've been using it up to 10 hours a day at times ( average 4-6 hours). Prior to pandemic, i used significantly more expensive chairs at work so have some reference point to compare with. For the price, it far exceeded my expectations.

All that said, in this price bracket? With the warranty I don't think anything even comes close. Though if you want an 8 hour a day chair get one rated as such.
Where did you get one? I've been looking on FB marketplace but most are older or refurbished from a third party
got it directly from steelcase. their google shopping store is much cheaper than their website

I'm pretty average build and I think it's slightly too narrow. Pretty decent chair. Much better than the most I find around this price point. Any upgrade I would probably recommend a used Aeron for around $300-500.
This isnt steelcase, is it?
I got a two year old "sit on it" office chair which was $700 new for $100. It looked like it had never been used. These industry office chairs are robust, have long warranties and have all the things you need like lumbar support and adjustable arms. I got to try them out and pick the right brand/size.
I would recommend if you are looking for a chair to search locally for office chairs from fb marketplace. If you see a load of chairs in one photo (in a crazy disorganized fashion) then you know it's a company clearance.
Chair brands to look out for that are office grade: allsteel, sit on it, knoll generation and steelcase.
A lot of companies are closing/moving offices with the WFH movement. Therefore this is a good time to pick one up.
Still in very good condition. The left armrest material is cracking, but i lean on my left side a lot so my elbow digs in. It also squeaks when I spin around, but only at the max lean back position. I bought it for the same price, 130 and definitely feel like i make a good purchase.
Maybe i should buy it again now.
