What programs do you need?

My example: I had a 8gb chrome book but needed zoom for work. It doesn't have an actual app for chrome and runs through the browser. I could not set breakout rooms

I got a surface and windows, it worked really well, but as also my personal device, it's lapability was horrible, so was the battery, and it would throttle.

I returned it for the MacBook Air and it's been glorious.

I know. Someone just said that it was $999 at Apple and I just mentioned that it was actually $899 with education pricing.

The processor in this MacBook Air is far superior to the processor in any and all Chromebook. Also due to some bizarre decision from Google,, Chromebooks are awful ar video streaming. Even the movies and TV shows purchased on their own Google Play Movie store are limited to 480P only

Do you guys know anyone who actually owns one? How real is the memory swap issue with this 8GB/256GB combo? I'm only holding off cz I don't want the SSD to die in a couple of years and Apple charging me like $500 to fix it. Frown

Debating this or wait for the MBP refresh. Probably an updated M1 variant in the new MBP but this seems crazy cheap. Mostly do work productivity things like office and web surfing. 🤔
