Our ninja was on its last legs a couple weeks ago so purchased a blendtec and have been sorely disappointed. I know Vitamix is not Blendtec but they both receive rave reviews and both are known to be higher end. We make smoothies all the time and I just don't think the blendtec is cut out for it, perhaps this one is as you mentioned better smoothies, but honestly wish I would have just stuck with another cheap ninja.
Within same brand, there is already difference (some slight, some noticeable) between different model.

Bad experience with Blendtec really has nothing to do with Vitamix literally. Apple vs Orange vs Carrot.

The 3300 is on sale at Amazon for $396. I can't decide between the two.

Do you or anyone know if the 7500 is smaller in height vs the E320?

Here's what's on the Vitamix product pages for each, but I don't know if the E320's numbers are rounded or if they're listing the dimensions of the boxes. Anyone? Thanks!

E320
Dimensions: 11 x 8 x 18 in.

7500
Dimensions: 17.5 x 9.4 x 7.7 in

Not the same.

This doesn't include extra.

This is more quiet (much more for me), and advertised as having better better cooling tech. Comparability, power wise, and functionality, they're the same.

Lol...same with me. We had the 7500 but when I tried the 5200, I didn't want to go back. I ended up giving the 7500 to my mom and bought the 5200. It runs more smooth and quiet. It just seems like a better machine. I think it's worth the extra $100 if you use it frequently.
Huh? Based on some quick googling, the 7500 seems like the more premium model. What am I missing?

Is here a narrow jar I can buy as an add-on? I live alone and my portions are small.

Very tempting. I think they are getting ready to release a new model. Only thing missing on this is the one touch features which is super convenient.

I did the same with Blendtech. Was VERY disappointed. After fighting it for years I bought a Vitamix refurb 7500 3 or 4 months ago from SD thread for 240. It is a VASTLY superior blender to the Blendtech. If you cna return the blendtech I suggest the vitamix. It's not even close.

I am very satisfied with E320 performance and extra jars worth it.

I purchases the E320 2 weeks ago when Costco had on sale for 329.99. This seems to have a better motor but less extras. I still ordered it to see
