Love that it can do BT or use it's own wireless technology.
And the easy switch is critical if you want to use a single mouse between multiple devices regularly.

BT's polling rate is also limited to 133 Hz. The better mice use a 250 Hz polling rate, while gaming mice can go over 1000 Hz. In fact I think this is Logitech's official reason for still using dongles.
The thing I don't understand why it never became standard was the recessed USB port on laptops. You could stick a mouse dongle into it and it wouldn't stick out and catch on things or fall out (a plastic flip cover would protect it). I only saw a couple laptops with it.
