$22.50/year is pretty close to '$22.' What does it cost for Amazon Prime if not a discounted welfare recipient (and why I refuse to pay their retail), Costco, Sam's, etc.?
Not sure you can compare ITC to Prime.. totally different things. If it wasnt for buying a toolbox I dont think I would get my $30/year value out of ITC, but then again I have most the tools I need, and only buy a few random items a year. If you plan on buying a decent amount of tools throughout a year, its likely much more worthwhile.
Actually, now that I look at my receipt. They rang me up for the 15% ITC discount on both the tool chests I bought.. but never charged me for the ITC membership.. so Guess I didn't end up buying it after all, and still got the discount.
Also if you want ITC keep an eye out. Normally once a year they offer a deal where you get a gift card when you sign up. I had ITC last year, rarely used it, but they gave me a gift card for signing up which made it near break even for me.
Think about how you would use it and buy the right ladder for the job.
Yep.... We have a Werner and the only time I use it is for stairs or steps. Too heavy, uncomfortable narrow rungs, a pain to use as an extension ladder if bushes or anything is in the way and most of the time, I eventually get a finger pinched. But, it is nice on steps for like changing a light bulb, or one of those 50,000 hour LED lights that lasts about 10,000.

Man...check Facebook marketplace. There are always tons of cheap ladders, good brands that people need to clear out.
The point was, if they come out with better perks for membership that make it worthwhile, I may come back and participate. We already get a pretty good deal from HF. I don't pay for Prime and still buy plenty from Amazon. I don't pay for Walmart's program and like Amazon, have no problem buying the minimum for free shipping.
Here, very few hand tools are from HF, but we did buy a heavy transmission jack, concrete mixer, hydraulic lift table, drywall hoists, tool boxes, 20 ton press, etc. that were all deals at the time. I have used a load of their wet sandpaper, wool bonnets, etc. as an auto body hobbyist that have been almost as good as 3M at a fraction of the cost and we are a 3M dealer.
PS: Missed your edit, but sounds like you got a deal. It is nice to get a win once in awhile.

I stopped by last week for some acid brushes and a couple other items and they were out of stock on all but one of the items. Their disposable gloves are still over $15 / box, making it not worth buying from them.
We'll see if they can recover.

The color coding is neat but you can get Bondhus Made in USA metric AND English sets combined for the same price
I am looking at the MXS 5.0 and it's in my Amazon cart. Just curious to see if there is anything with similar capability for less.
