I have a Ryobi impact driver (not wrench), PSBID01, with the non HP 1.5 Ah batteries and it manages to remove my 85 ft/lb lug nuts off without any issue.

I got that you think you found one exact tool the HP definitely works as expected with, but Ryobi themselves literally admit some brushless tools get no gains. For others they will only say 'the tool will perform optimally using HP', they never give specific figures unless it's 'Up to' ones. Also as others have pointed out the HP line is using the same cells as Lithium+. As they said that's BS and they are charging you to unlock performance. Open the packs up they don't look different enough to warrant even a 20% $ difference.
Again my point is that does not warrant ONLY buying HP batteries. If you truly feel your saw needs them, great, get enough for your normal projects and no more. Save cash with Lithium+ and get more AH for all the tools that don't benefit from HP.
If you are still only buying HP Batteries then care to comment on the two videos I posted? The HP Batteries did not appear to warrant the extra price until you got to 9AH and that price is insane not to mention heavy.
