The "normal" almost always "sale" is $80 off the tires and $40 off install (IF YOU ARE A PLUS MEMBER).
This is the same $80 off the tires but free install to EVERY member.
It actually is a deal--esp if you aren't a PLUS member.

I leave plenty of space between me and the car in front so the argument that shorter stopping distances will help doesn't even really factor. If you somehow run into the guy in front of you and the difference was inferior rubber, then maybe you're following the guy way too close.
129.63 Pirelli P4 Four Seasons Plus - 215/55R17 94V Tire
131.47 Pirelli Cinturato P7 A/S Plus II - 215/55R17 94H Tire
138.88 Pirelli Cinturato P7 A/S Plus II - 215/55R17 94V Tire
Was looking 205/55R16 for a Civic and no option to order Pirelli tires on that either

Nice. I finally sold my 2011 Accord EX coupe w/manual transmission that I purchased new, with super low miles.
I made the mistake of trying to save a few bucks and back when Sears had crazy deals with the SYWR program I got great tires cheap, that included lifetime tire rotations. I went there for a rotation one day and was watching them from the waiting area, they finished so I went to the cashier to get my keys. After waiting 15 minutes I asked where the heck my car was, they didn't have the keys and my car wasn't in the shop or in the lot. They told me it's their policy to take it for a test drive after.
Finally 30-45 minutes later my car shows up, only 2 miles on the odo over what I left it at. But my clutch felt strange, and shifting into any gear felt different - gone was the slightly mechanical resistance you feel going into any gear. Now it just felt empty, no resistance, like something had broken. That said it worked and since I didn't have proof of wrongdoing I was SOL.
I broke the cardinal rule of owning a stickshift. Don't let anyone else drive it!
Not that bad of a price but had to go through all these Sam's BS.

For free?
Does Costco has this ? Or other store ?
FYI -- I just noticed that American Tire Depot appears to only be in California, so this is kind of limited in scope. But for those of us living on the "best coast" it's the best tire deal around.
edit: I was referring to all available, but the $80 off ones are about the same.

$80 off 4x Pirelli, Goodyear, BFGoodrich
$70 off 4x Michelin
$40 off install for Plus members only
We live over 50 miles away and would not have purchased from Sams had we known their inability to provide installation in a reasonable time. We really don't want to muster up at 9:30am, possibly several times, only to be turned away. This also impacts their hazard warrantee, free tire rotations and rebalancing That were positive selling points in our consideration but now appear worthless.
Warning. Call your Sams club to determine the wait time for installation before you BUY.

Yea stopped by my store earlier today as I noticed tires were delivered, and was told 12/2 was next available date for install.

I saw a set of identically-sized Michelin Pilot Sport All Seasons sitting there which many people mistake for the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires. I specifically came back and asked the installer and made sure those were not the ones for me. Told them many people make that mistake. Lo and behold, 2 hours later, that set was on my car. I told them they put the wrong ones on and they immediately took them off and put on the right ones, which took another 45 min.
But they fixed the mistake so I give them kudos and even tipped them.
All in all, I saved at least $150 on the set and am pretty happy with the experience. In and out in 2 hrs (not counting the error).
