80 boosts to 100. Honestly, you can just look at the weight of a 15.6" laptop and can tell. Any one closer to 4 pounds will be the lower TDP variant. The ones that are 5+ lbs are generally the full power versions (at the same price point). They will ALWAYS be slightly thicker and have the little protrusion where the bigger cooling exists that extends behind the screen. This is pretty much the standard frame sizes.

This is a line and light gaming.

Had this same laptop.

Don't upgrade to windows 11 until they fix issue with AMD. It keeps crashing with games. The error I faced has to do with TPM and AMD. You guys can find more info on amd forum

Thanks for the info on Windows 11. I was going to set it up on this laptop to check if I should upgrade the rest of them but you saved me the headache!

Thank you, I've been looking to replace my current gaming tower, and laptop, to consolidate to one convenient machine. Wishing I'd have jumped on that main gear deal recently w/ the 3080 16gb variant at 165w @boost...

A lot of people have been knocking the lower TDP of this laptop, but if you really want 100W sustained you could always flash a different vbios to the 3070. Lots of reddit forums on this.

For those who are interested, the Open-Box Excellent is showing as $1,409.99 for me. I am not seeing any cheaper Open-Box options.

I agree. Getting a laptop for son and no webcam seems dumb these days. This one would have been perfect if had a webcam. Hoping I can find something similar with webcam.

Depends if you want thin and light, the Lenovo isn't either.
