For those unaware, each OEM decides how to implement the RTX 3070 Laptop GPU as far as Total Graphics Power, which can range from 85W to 140W. This can translate to a large difference in performance, in exchange for less heat / cooling requirements. This one does appear to be 100W which is on the lower side of things, so keep that in mind if trying to compare to other RTX 3070 Laptops.

Fantastic laptop, owned it for about 8 months now. Primarily use it for photo editing along with light video editing, light gaming, and browsing. Has fantastic battery life when not using the dedicated gpu. Very color accurate screen out of the box. I purchased mine as an open-box excellent item from best buy, no issues, but ymmv. Has been plenty powerful for all my mobile needs. I would look elsewhere though for a desktop replacement.

No webcam. Great specs for gaming/editing, but pointing that out for anyone who needs a laptop for web conferences/zoom.

Just my opinion; this is a great laptop for those looking for a lightweight powerhouse. I was going to get this one but the lack of a camera was a deal breaker for me. The new one has a camera, but they got rid of the fingerprint scanner

If you're looking for gaming first / productivity second, I'd go for a 140w version with the Ryzen7 instead. Same cores just more power directed to the 3070 instead. I've got the Lenovo version like this [walmart.com]

The m16 model is nearly identical and has a webcam, 16:10 screen

Was in the market for a laptop last fall and bought one of these. Was very impressed at first, but didn't take long to notice the backlight bleed. I swapped it for another one, and it wasn't as bad but bad enough, so replaced it again, and the third one was worse than the first two by an alarming margin. Ended up grabbing something else.

So…gonna guess these open box units are mostly ones with backlight bleed, but in general they were very poorly constructed. The second one I had lost functionality I'm the right half of the space bar.

reddit is rife with examples of these and other issues. If you baby it and use an external monitor this is a pretty slamming deal though
