Can't speak to MS flight sim but I'm using a 3080 with this monitor and playing back 4 blood which just came out a few weeks ago and still hitting 140+ fps. Incredibly useful for both productive purposes and for gaming.

I've played Horizon Zero Dawn and Doom Eternal as well and the fps is more than enough to enjoy the games.
Check the reviews on the Samsung site. One of them said if you're wanting it for flight sim, this isn't the monitor for you. And sadly, that seems to be one of the better reviews. Many other negatives, flickering, dead pixels on arrival, display ports stopped working, poor CS, etc.

I've been wanting to upgrade from 2X 24" monitors and thought this might be a good solution, but after reading several reviews, it's a pass for me. There are other, better options for the same price or less.

Hi, how would this pair with a RTX 3080? Anyone use this with MS flight simulator?

Youtube reviewers say 2080ti works well so should run well with 3080 depends on your subjective standards. The site has a military discount and a bunch of other discount offers. i see same price as op with military discount. So now decisions this or the 48" oled

There is also a 240hz version of this, beside their refresh rate are there anything else one should consider the 240hz instead?

Bought one few months ago to list all the windows in a row. Kind of too wide for me.

I would prefer two nice 32 inch rather than one 49 ( which is basically two 27 inch together )

Having two separate monitors allows me sometimes to play youtube videos in full screen on one and work on the other

These could use an extended warranty…I believe the G9 did have a 3 yr warranty at one time but this is definitely only 1yr.

It's a lot of eggs in one basket for something your definitely gonna use for more than 1 year.
