I got $7 instant and $3 later just a few mins ago.

edit: The $3 as gift card looks instant, too. Couldn't tell at checkout since I already had some gc balance.
I also got instant trade in. $7 off and a $14 digital gift card for 1st Gen cube.

Nice I've been expecting a BF deal to drop on these. Going to upgrade the living room 4K stick to this and see what improvements are gained. Not sure why everyone is crying about storage…..WTF are you trying to do on these??? Mine runs full blown IPTV service, movie/tv apps plus all the big mainstream pay streaming apps you'd expect. Never stutters or has hiccups. Delete all the bloat and clear your cache every few weeks and life is good.

Generally kind of worthless if you have another echo dot laying around
The dot can't voice control tv power or volume without a blaster. And the blaster is clunky and a pain to setup. Speaking from experience

No issues with two of my ftv2 with microsd slot lol

The remote does loose wifi a few times but not as bad as before with older o.s. versions.

I have been running two of the previous Gen ones since 2018. I don't understand why most of you complain about the storage. Mine has 3gb of free storage available. And this is with bunch of Amazon bloat and some other sideloaded apps. It's a streamer not a NAS storage device.

If I already have a tv with built in roku or fire tv. What purpose would I need to get this device? I have two previous versions of the roku sticks and I remember jailbreaking them to access kodi and various add ons. But that became too much of a hassle and went back just to using normal Netflix, prime video, Pluto tv, and xfinity app

Huh. Well, not only did I not get an instant trade-in offer, but the Amazon guy actually told me there was no benefit to trading in my old one because the discount wouldn't work on anything that was on sale.

Processing power on these will destroy your TVs onboard service. Kodi is pretty much dead for tv and movies that gained it so much popularity. It's all switched to standalone apps now.

These are a modest improvement. I will use one in a spare bedroom, but stick with Shield in liv room and bedroom. Nothing can beat the shield.
