Pro Tip: The installation should be fairly hidden, other than the antenna that is mostly hidden behind the rear view mirror. Install it in her car before Christmas then just give her the remotes on Christmas morning, it will be more exciting than a pile of boxes. Speaking from experience Frown

You can't get the free install and install parts promo if you do ship to home. I figured that out a couple weeks ago when the deal was available last. Couldn't cancel the ship to home order even 5 minutes after placing so I placed a separate ship to store order to get the deal. Naturally, the ship to home order was delivered to an Amazon distribution center and not my home as noted on the ups proof of delivery and best buy told me to f* off and to take the delivery issue up with local authorities because it was signed for.

This would require purchasing the 4g kit and having it installed. The basic subscription is $3 a month if you prepay 5 years, or $4 a month for a 3 year prepayment.

Unless you get an install like my last one. The antenna dongle is just hanging loose in the top corner of my windshield. The tech didn't enable the keyless entry, bits of scrap wire and capacitors just left on the floormats, and he might have broken my reverse parking sensor system. It no longer works but I can't be positive it didn't stop working before the install.
I had a late afternoon install and picked it up after the tech had left. So I had to get a manager to reschedule another appointment to get it fixed.
This was the northglenn Colorado bestbuy just as a warning to potential buyers

I got this in 2019 for about this price. It was awesome. Make sure all your electronics work fine afterward. My a/c didn't work because the installer did something funny but it was an easy same day fix.

You will need to add a device from CarLink or DroneMobile. Carlink's device is called a CL6. I have the CL6 on my pickup and it works flawlessly and even tells me the temperature, battery level, GPS, and allows me to turn on heated seats or other things. I paid $130 and it came with 1 year subscription free. The CL6 works on the T-mobile and I think it's cheaper option. I do not know much about DroneMobile's option, but I believe their device will even scan your vehicle for engine diagnostic codes.

I suggest setting up your appointment immediately. I ordered this back in September and the first appointment I was able to get in my area was this past Saturday. Classic crappie Best Buy called me 45 minutes before my appointment and cancelled it. Pretty annoying since I've been waiting for two months to get it installed in my wife's car and now the next available appointment within 30 miles of me is not until January
