the Red Plus is ~5700RPM. Red Pro's are 7200RPM
The word you were looking for was "yes"

yes this is the GOOD drive
One potential solution if you have a good router is to just plug a USB drive into it and share the drive over the LAN.

Is this the good 4TB Red or the problematic 4TB Red?

Not sure exactly what you mean, but I guess it's one of the two concerns below:

This is a CMR drive, as opposed to SMR. To put it succinctly, SMR drives should be avoided for the daily driver and storage arrays (if one fails, rebuilding with an SMR drive can take much longer than a CMR drive). They can be OK for write-once archival.
If you want to read further into that, you can look up "Shingled magnetic recording,"

This is a '5400 RPM Class' drive, which is misleading. It is not a 5400 RPM drive. It runs at 7200 RPM.

Any thoughts on how I can have a cheap NAS setup for just backing my Mac using TimeMachine to a NAS drive? Dont want to spend 100$ plus on NAS enclosure etc.

It's not a good drive if your enclosure doesn't handle the heat of a 7200rpm drive. Not sure why WD keeps dragging their good reputation down with misleading marketing.

The description on the Newegg page is "WD Red Plus 4TB NAS Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM Class SATA 6Gb/s, CMR, 128MB Cache, 3.5 Inch - WD40EFZX - OEM" so one would think this is a 5400 RPM drive.

I would look around for a used Synology 2-bay NAS enclosure. You can usually find some good deals on OfferUp, Craigslist, Ebay if you look at older generation models.

5400 RPM class does not mean it spins at 5400 RPM. It means the performance is at least as good as a standard 5400 RPM drive. WD drives routinely beat out competitive benchmarks because they are in the 5400 "class" but spin faster.

unfortunately I have Deco M5 Mesh router which does not have a usb port (I researched - none of the mesh network routers on the planet have USB ports, only individual routers have it)
