That said - China (currently) makes almost everything and the build quality can be very high (Apple) because of the requirements. Other phones are manufactured in the same plants, but it costs more, so those are your better phones.
On a sub-$100 aluminum tripod? I'd say that the name brand from the brand's store it's a solid buy.
From the details, it actually fits Arca Swiss plates, which all of my stuff was switched to a long time ago, so I'd call it a win.
Is it an 055 pro? No; it's not meant to be.

Many ppl like you don't care about that cost, of course. But I think most of them would just go to some high end/luxury stores and pick up the most premium ones instead of going to SD, find a sweet deal with much lower price but solid made in China from well known brand.
1) The lower sections of these travel tripods are super thin and are the usual suspects when the tripod starts being shaky. Keep those last section closed off and you'll have a bit more stability at the expense of height.
2) The main limitation on the weight limit is typically the holding strength of the ballhead. I've used mine with a 70-200 f/4 lens and full-sized DSLR by changing out the ballhead to something bigger while still fitting within the folded legs.

I am 50/50 about this, but want the flexibility of free return shipping from Amazon.
Not necessarily the best - but will hold a full-size camera. Second - height is subjective... this is clearly a small, travel type tripod, so it's generally going to be shorter than others.
The binoculars have great reviews for quality and ease of use but a tripod is recommended. Don't know if the tripod needs particular features, or if even a $30 unit can do it.

When birdwatching, especially with a tripod, it's best to sit in a low-set lawn chair so they don't see you.

That being said I actually really like this tripod and use it the most. Way more then my actual Manfrotto BeFree tripod. It's super compact so I just keep it in my car. It's also super fast to set up so perfect for family portraits where not everyone wants to stand around while you set up your tripod. I use it with a Sony mirrorless a6400 usually with sigma primes and have great confidence in the tripod. I wouldn't use it in windy conditions though. Since it has a ball head and adjustable legs it's more versatile then you'd think too. It can get pretty low with the legs not extended and folded out. Also, I'm not a videographer by any means, but the panning action is quite smooth and adjustable especially for this price range.
