I really don't even understand what you're going for with that comment. A battery is going to give you 30 minutes before you lose power and that's a peak performing battery and not one that's a year or 2 old. What size battery are looking for to "weed whack" over 7 acres? The people I know with property that size sure as shit not whacking anything away from the house.

Really is it that easy to say ridiculous things from behind the safety of your keyboard? 🤦 ♂️
You do realize batteries lose ability to charge over time which apparently from what I am told from those that use them at best around 2 years.
So you will need to invest in new ones , the folks at Home depot and Lowe's who are in the dept that sells them tell me to buy gas powered or plug in as they are a better value and you can run them longer as you are not subjected to a short run time with battery power.
I use a plug in bush and grass trimmers that I have had for 4 plus years without loss of power.

Yes, that's why plug-in equipment are so popular these days. They can't keep up with demand. You must know something everybody else doesn't.

I've been using my Craftsman battery-powered lawn tools for going on 3 years. Same batteries. Works as new.

Have fun dragging that cord around or in-haling fumes. And driving your steam-powered car. And using dial-up service.

I have 2 battery powered trimmers (Ryobi and B&D) to trim the side and front of my house. I would say no more than 1000 sf, but it normally takes me 2-3 pass to get it trim down to the level I want. Got fed up with them not being strong enough, so I got this to try it out.

The power difference is insane. While the battery powered ones whips some of the grass and weeds around, this one chops it all cleanly at the base. Yes, this one requires an extension cord, but I have outlet in the front of my house so its not that bad. It use to take me 45 mins to trim the grass, but now it only take about 10-15 mins.

The battery trimmers are going on FB marketplace this weekend.

Another thing to note is that this is a straight shaft trimmer. You can put brush cutter blades on this to trim trees. Of course, there are various other attachments but they get pricey. There's not a single battery powered equivalent that I've seen anywhere close to this price range.
