$50 cheaper than previous front page deals. Also open box available from $1124.99. Qhd 120mhz panel. 8gb soldered.. the other 8gb replaceable up to 32gb making 40gb total ram. No extra drive slots though. Great deal, incredible processor.

only 1 is soldered, and 16GB is good enough for 90% of the people. You can add another dimm to pair with the soldered one if you so wish.

I just got mine from fedex and fired it up.
I am pretty happy with the little powerful machine. The display *may* not be as nice as the apple retina quality, but it is quite nice - fonts are crisp and colors are bright and sharp. the speakers sounds pretty full and rich. So don't be discouraged by the negative reviews or those who returned the product. Asus could have some quality control issues but just try it out and see how yours turns out.

Yeah, i guess it's all about whether its worth it to shell out extra $450 for 3060 and ryzen CPU and lose the OLED 2.8k screen

To everyone on the fence about 1080p vs QHD, QHD wins, trust me.. I've owned both, 1080p on QHD looks just as good as playing 1080p natively. You might lose some battery life but you gain better display in response time and color accuracy. Also QHD looks better on laptops for some reason. (Switching from 1080p 14inch previously)

Mine was available for pick up on the 10th (even though it said the 11th originally), and I picked it up on the 11th.

I ended up returning mine. While I like the form factor and features, I just didn't see a huge performance boost from my 2020 BF deal (Acer Nitro w/2060 for $699). Plus it ran a bit hot. Maybe I'll take a chance on the newer model when it comes down a bit in price.
